FluorOx greases are fluorinated lubricating greases, this makes them different from other greases, given that they are designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions and critical environments without degradation or carbonization.

 

Can FluorOx greases only endure high temperatures for a short period of time?
No, FluorOx greases are made to endure high temperatures in a continuous manner and without cool down periods.

 

Does FluorOx form coal, sticky residue, or does it leak under high temperatures?
No, FluorOx cannot form coal given that it is not a hydrocarbon and it consists only of fluor, oxygen, and carbon.

 

Does FluorOx contain silicones?
No, FluorOx contains polytetrafluoroethylene (PFPE) which doesn’t migrate like silicone.

 

What are FluorOx greases made of?
FluorOx greases are made with perfluoropolyether (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene thickener (PTFE)

 

Is FluorOx an inflammable grease?

FluorOx® 150

Fluorinated Oil

FluorOx Lubricant Oils are successfully used in the automotive industry for noise reduction from plastics inside vehicles, given that they are 100% eliminated.

 

FluorOx 150 Oil is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) also known as perfluoroalkylether (PFAE) or perfluoropolyalkylether (PFPAE) and contains only carbon, oxygen, and fluor. FluorOx 150 is non-reactive and inert, it is colorless and odorless, non-flammable, and safe for handling oxygen and highly reactive chemical products.

 

It is compatible with every plastic, elastomers, and the majority of metals. It is non-toxic and operates at a temperature range of -35 degrees C to 210 degrees C.

 

It can be used in environments with high oxidation, radiation, under steam pressure and any other condition where conventional oil would stop working. Because of its excellent properties, FluorOx 150 is used in multiple areas of high-end technology, including noise reduction in the automotive industry, as hydraulic fluid, heat-transfer oil, lubricant, and vacuum oil.

FluorOx® 250

High Performance Fluorinated Grease

 

Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) FlourOx 250 grease has an exceptional performance in the plastic, textile, automotive, appliance, electronic, and auto parts industries, because of its excellent lubricating characteristics.

 

FluorOx 250also acts as a sound eliminator caused by the friction of plastic components, gaskets, and rubber seals. FluorOx 250 is formulated to operate in a wide range of temperatures, it does not carbonize, and is long lasting, it contains only carbon, oxygen, and fluor, it is non flammable, insoluble, compatible with oxygen y chemically inert.

 

FluorOx 250also acts as a sound eliminator caused by the friction of plastic components, gaskets, and rubber seals. FluorOx® 500

High Performance Fluorinated Grease

 

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and perfluoropolyether (PFPE) FluorOx 500 grease is specially designed to operate in a wide range of temperatures, it does not carbonize, and is long lasting, it contains only carbon, oxygen, and fluor, it is non flammable, insoluble, compatible with oxygen, and chemically inert.

 

It has been developed for use in fields where non reactivity to chemical products, including strong acids, oxydants, combustibles and solvents, are a very important factor. It is completely compatible and equivalen to all existing (PFPE/PTFE) fluorinated greases in the market.

 

Because of its high performance, FluorOx 500 is ideal for the lubrication of high temperature bearings in the transportation of paint ovens, ceramics, planification, annealing, curated, hot corrugated rollers, endless screws, injector mold lubrication, oven chains, textile equipment, clean rooms, and permanently sealed bearings.

 

Other FluorOx 500 applications in industry are: Geared motors lubrication, bearings, gears, bolts, hinges, electrical contacts, valves, packings, o-rings, and systems that use plastic seals and elastomerics.

FluorOx® 750

Electro-Conductive Fluorinated Grease

FluorOx 750 is a creamy and coppered perfluoropolyether (PFPE) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) grease designed for special applications that require an excellent electrical conductivity.

 

Most fluorinated greases with PTFE thickener act as isolators, FluorOx 750 has been activated with a copper micro-dust that provides high electrical conductivity properties. Because it’s inert, non flammable, non reactive and insoluble.

 

FlourOx 750 ensures a long lifespan and lubrication, as well as great stability in high temperatures.

 

Thermal conductivity is incremented because of the copper content and is ideal for applications where heat transfer needs to be enhanced. This type of electro-conductive grease can increase noise and wear in bearings because of their micro-copper contents.

 

Some typical applications for the electro-conductive grease FluorOx 750 is in controllers, switches and electrical contacts, copper terminals in electroplating, electrical circuits in control panels in areas with highly aggressive or corrosive chemical environments.

FluorOx® 3000

Fluid Fluorinated Grease for Chains

FluorOx 3000 grease formulated with perfluoropolyether (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is specially designed to function in a wide range of temperatures; it does not carbonize and is long lasting, contains only carbon, oxygen, and fluor, it is non- flammable, insoluble, compatible with oxygen, and chemically inert.

 

It has been developed to be used where non reactivity to chemical products, including strong acids, alkalis, oxidants, combustibles, and solvents, is a very important factor.

FluorOx® XHT-BN

PFPE Greases for extremely high temperatures

 

Creamy white grease manufactured with perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil, extremely stable to ultra temperatures, has an exceptional chemical resistance, very low oil evaporation and excellent heat transfer characteristics. Chemically and biologically inert, non toxic, non flammable, does not form carbon, is insoluble and completely compatible with oxygen. Its formula contains boron nitride as a thickening agent, a solid lubricant with no fusion point, allowing this grease to operate in temperatures where polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) would have a high risk of melting (288 Celsius)

 

FluorOx XHT-BN is designed to oeperate at a constant temperature of 400 degrees Celsius for long periods of time, and even indefinitely, in case the base oil runs out, this grease can work as a solid lubricant, i is very adherent and always remains in place, it substitutes every other Never Seize metallic pastes used to cover temperature ranges of 200 to 400 degree Celsius.

 

Some typical applications for FluorOx XHT-BN include use in bearings, , valves, plastic and aluminum injector molds, gears, ovens, packings, seals and o-ring, assembling and mounting of pieces for equipment operating in high temperatures, electrical contacts, pumps for chemical fluid management, ethanol plants, gas plants, and electricity.

FluorOx® DryLube Aerosol

Alternative to dry lubricants Dry Film or Dry Lube

 

Lubricant and dry film release agent

 

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion in isopropyl alcohol (IPA). The Fluorotelomere (PTFE) provides it with lubricating properties in highly stable dry film and for a wide variety of application in the industry, it works as dry lubricant in chains, guides, hinges, pliers, bolts, window frames, contact, outlets, electrical switches, cabinets, door handles, and anything that requires a smooth, repetitive movement, free of dust or dirt.

 

FluorOx DRY LUBE Dispersion IPA is widely used as a release agent in molds for plastic and elastomer pieces, it does not transfer to the molded pieces and these can be painted or decorated without having to be cleaned or washed. It can work excellently with molds with operating temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celius. It is a wonderful adherent for paint, rubber, and resins that need to be removed after baking.

 

After being applied, the (IPA) solvent evaporates, leaving a PTFE film, which is:

FluorOx® DryLube Aerosol

Alternative to dry lubricants Dry Film or Dry Lube

 

Dry Film Lubricant and Release Agent in Aerosol

 

Contains a clean, chemically inert formula which dries fat, leaving behind a colorless film, which does not attract dust or dirt, it does not cause hydraulic effect in deep molds. Once applied, the film is non flammable, it is water and oil repellent, and has no chlorinated solvents. It has a low coefficient of friction static, which makes this lubricant ideal for low speed and low charge situations. It has antiadherent properties, which makes the release of mold pieces much easier.

 

It is formulated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and is effective from -40 to 300 degrees Celsius. It can be safely used in the majority of plastic and rubber.
